Huntley House is a magnificent historic homestead, built in 1876 by one of Christchurch's early settlers, J H Twentyman. Owned by the Reid family since 1971, it has long been John Reid's dream to convert the property to a world-class boutique hotel offering the very finest accommodation.

This dream became reality in October 2004 when Huntley House opened its doors to the public. Today, Huntley House boasts 17 rooms (including one and two bedroom suites), each combining the comforts of a private home with the amenities of a luxury hotel.
