Features include full air conditioning, double-glazed windows and outdoor illumination and audio systems. The security system includes an electronic gate at the entrance of a private access road that leads to a double garage.

Okareka Lake House has its own comprehensively stocked wine cellar, as well as a library and entertainment theatre featuring large screen projection, DVD, VCR and stereo systems.Computers and printers are provided, as is a broadband Internet service and STD / IDD telephones.
